MAMMA's objectives are:

To work towards the relief of suffering endured by any British citizen, 
at home or abroad, by the provision of information, guidance and support 
(emotional, practical and financial) when trouble is encountered 
overseas (for example, but not exclusively - when someone goes missing, 
is abducted, murdered, maimed or abandoned).

To work towards the prevention of suffering engendered by these 
situations through education and facilitation of conflict resolution to 
create harmonious relationships throughout the world
